It has been some time since the Fort Bend Young Republicans (FBYR) has had a face in Fort Bend County, but I am happy to announce that after so many years, we are back and getting ready to make a difference.
FBYR is a non-profit organization and it is looking for you! We do not ask that you have an extensive background in politics, we do not even ask that you dedicate all your time outside of your work. What we ask is that you have a passion to make a difference in Fort Bend County. The FBYR is an organization for young professionals and their families between the ages of 18-40. WAIT! I know that there are many people who are high school or beyond that age of 40 and we still welcome you to come out!
We have an energized group of leaders working hard to get this organization up and running and I am proud to know them all. We have Danielle Settles who has been awesome at getting us some great speakers at such an early stage of our organization building. And of course I cannot forget Michelle Bloom and Garrett Post who have been working hard on our first newsletter and our website design. Nick Wenker is doing an awesome job by keeping people informed and he as well is keeping up with facebook, twitter, etc. Bruce Moats is working on getting our financials back in order and other great stuff.
With this dynamic group of people things are lifting off the ground and we want you to be apart of it. Join our facebook group and keep up-to-date on upcoming events or join us on Twitter. Come out, make friends, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Let’s keep our Fort Bend County a red county and have fun in the process.
